9/27/08 vs. Weston Hawks

Today was absolutely a fantastic day of Spartans Baseball!! Congratulations on winning both games of our double header! Everyone played wonderful! Sorry we didn't have pictures today but here's some highlights of the game!

Game 1

WIN 27-5
We scored 27 runs!!! AMAZING!!!
Eric pitched a brilliant game with 7 strike outs and allowing only 2 hits. PJ came in and finished off the game with 2 strike outs and allowing only 1 hit! Way to go Eric & PJ with your dominating pitching!!!
Brandon 2-2 (with 2 walks) No runs scored on passed balls as catcher!!
Nick 3-4 (with 1 walk); Jared 2-5 (with 1 walk); Eric 2-3 (with 2 walks); Philippe 2-5 ; PJ 4-4; Livan 1-3 (with 1 walk); Kyle 1-3 (with 1 walk); Jeremy 0-1 (with 3 walks)

Game 2

WIN 8-2
Another amazing win!
Philippe pitched the entire 5-inning game with only 72 pitches thrown, 3 strike outs and allowed only 2 runs scored. He definitely kept the Hawks on their toes with his incredible change up!! Way to go 44!!
Congratulations to Michael for his screaming Home Run to Right Center Field in the bottom of the 5th inning! WOW!!
Nick had a nice double play at second base to end a scoring threat in the top of the 3rd inning.
Brandon made an incredible throw from Left Field to Jeremy at home to put an end to another scoring threat in the top of the 5th inning. What a throw!!
